Otranto lies on the coast of southern Puglia, about 42 km southeast of Lecce and 90 km southeast of Brindisi. It's one of the largest coastal towns in this region. We visited Otranto as part of our 10-day Puglia road trip itinerary and we found in general that it's best to hire a car while traveling around Puglia.
